Disney’s Oz the Great and Powerful

Digital

This immersive unit takes the user across multiple websites to experience the land of Oz. I worked on the pitch mocks where this concept became sold and continued to work on the final static designs for this project. After all the designs are approved, the buildout was sent outsourced to Mexico.

The first frame starts off with the tornado wreaking havoc on the CraveOnline site.

The hot air balloon eventually gets sucked up into a black hole.

The black fades into the land of Oz with a sign that lets the user pick between two paths.

If the user chooses the Magic Swamp, it will take them to ComingSoon where the pixies fly out and eventually darts at you.

If the user chooses the Dark Forest, it will take the user to the alternate version of ComingSoon where a horde of flying baboons tear through the site while coming at you.

The user eventually reaches the Emerald City on MovieWeb where the wicked witch appears and burns up in the fire.

At the end of tour, the user will see the end frame with the movie messaging and options to share the experience, visit the official site or take the tour again.
